Stacey Joiner MA LPC, NCC

Stacey is the owner of Serene Counseling Services, LLC, bringing over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. She brings a wealth of experience in child welfare, juvenile justice, and community mental health, having made significant contributions in both hands-on service and leadership roles. With extensive experience in leadership and administration, Stacey has played a vital role in developing initiatives and approaches that aid individuals, families, and communities.

I earned my Bachelors degree in psychology from Central Michigan University and my master’s degree in community counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My work integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy, internal family systems, and the Gottman method for couples to help clients gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and build confidence in their ability to transform into their best selves.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I assist clients in addressing diverse life challenges and navigating complex personal circumstances. I support clients as they manage anxiety, depression, major life changes, marital and relationship issues, challenges with self-esteem, and a range of behavioral or emotional concerns. I work alongside clients to help them achieve lasting, meaningful change.

I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and empowered. Together, we will explore what you need to move toward balance, resilience, and self-care. Reaching out for support is a powerful first step, and I would be honored to walk with you as you pursue a more fulfilling life.
